Ann Kaplowitz Goldberg (1924-2009) of Brooklyn, New York, worked in classified communications with the Women's Army Corps from 1944 to 1946. Ann Kaplowitz Goldberg was born on 23 November 1924 in Brooklyn, New York, to Russian parents. She attended Thomas Jefferson High School in New York and worked as a secretary before joining the military. Goldberg enlisted in the Women's Army Corps on 7 December 1944 and became part of the United States Army Air Force. After basic training at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, in early 1945, Goldberg served at Sheppard Field in Wichita Falls, Texas.
