Arlene Mae Webb (1923-2007), of Overland, Missouri, enlisted in the United States Women's Army Auxiliary Corps 2 Feb 1943. She did her basic training at Fort Des Moines, Iowa. She served as a recruiter in Atlanta, Georgia and Memphis, Tennessee. In 1944 or 1945 she was transferred to the U.S. Army Forces, Western Pacific Women's Army Corps Detachment in Finschhafen, Papua New Guinea. Webb died 15 July 2007 in Mountain Home, Baxter, Arkansas.
