Christy Diaz (b. 1986) served in the United States Army from 2004 to 2012. Christy Diaz was born 5 June 1986 in Miami, Florida. After the separation of her parents, Diaz was raised by her mother and grandparents. When she was in the fifth grade they moved to Naples, Florida. In April 2004 Diaz signed a four year contract for the United States Army, where she would be working in Human Resources. On 2 September 2004, Diaz began her nine weeks basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, after which she completed another nine weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT). During AIT she was trained for Human Resources, including typing up memos and reports.
