The Class of 1902 folder contains material pertaining to the 1902 graduating class of North Carolina State Normal and Industrial School (State Normal, now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro). Included in the folder are programs from the 1902 commencement activities such as the graduation ceremony, the Gentle Jury play, Class Day exercises, the Decennial Dinner, the Entertainment, and a program titled Representative Essays which were read by the students. Also included are two alumnae directories, which include students maiden and married names, and years of attendance. Of particular interest are two invitations, one for the Colonial Tea, and one for Decennial Dinner.(JPo)
