The Class of 1903 folder contains material pertaining to the 1903 graduating class of North Carolina State Normal and Industrial School (State Normal, now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro). Included in the folder are programs from the 1903 commencement ceremony, commencement exercises, a play titled The Baby, and a program titled Representative Essays which were read by the students. Also included are two alumnae directories, which include students maiden and married names, and years of attendance. Thereare also a photocopied newspaper article from May 1903 concerning the last day of Commencement, and a hand-written invitation to a Valentine event.
