The Class of 1912 folder contains material pertaining to the 1912 graduating class of North Carolina State Normal and Industrial School (State Normal, now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro). Included in the folder are programs from the 1912 Commencement Weekend, graduating exercises, the Annual Sermon, the Echoes from Opera opera, The May Day Games, and a decorative program for the Ye May Day Fete play. Of particular interest is a hand-painted booklet from the 1909 Junior-Senior Tournament, it includes poems and songs created by each student. There is a 50th year reunion booklet with class songs and a short biographical summary of the lives of the 1912 alumnae. There is also an original commencement invitation, and an essay written by Rose Inez Moose titled The History of Catawba County.
