The Class of 1949 folder contains material pertaining to the 1949 graduating class of Woman's College of the University of North Carolina (WCUNC, now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro). Included in the folder are programs, invitations, and other materials from the 1949 commencement activities. Also included are a fundraising letter, a minstrel show invitation, and a program from the Senior Unmusical titled 49-ER...50. In addition, there are alumnae biographical directories and other materials pertaining to class reunions in 1959, 1999, and 2004. Of particular interest is a script titled Democracy in Action at W.C. written by Nancy Beam Funderburk Wells in 1948 for the Student Government Association.
