Evelyn M. Bailey served in the United States Marine Corps Women's Reserve during WWII. She attended boot camp at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina in 1944. She was later was stationed at Naval Air Technical Training Center in Norman, Oklahoma and then Marine Corps Air Station in El Toro, California.
