These scrapbooks, created by Mary Sue Beam between 1919 and 1923, document Beam's experience as a student at the North Carolina College for Women (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro). The scrapbook entitled My Memory Book: North Carolina College contains lists of friends and addresses with notes, ephemera related to Beam's membership in the YWCA and the Dikean Society, report cards, programs from inter-societal debates, a travel diary of a trip to Washington, D.C.; and materials related to her religious activities as a Baptist.
