Mary Van Poole of Rowan County, North Carolina was a student at the State Normal and Industrial College (now the University of North Carolina at Greensboro), graduating in 1912 with a Bachelor of Science degree. The Mary Van Poole Scrapbook dates from 1908 to 1912. It has a brown cover embossed with a border and windmill image and is titled, Scrap Book. The Scrapbook contains brown paper and is annotated in black ink. It contains mounted photographs that feature the college, its buildings, and student life. The Collection also includes a photocopied duplicate of the scrapbook. Photographs depict many faculty and staff members, including Dr. Foust with Dr. Charles W.
