Pollyanna Neely (b. 1961), of Miami, Florida, served in the United States Navy from 1987-2012. Pollyanna Neely was born 18 January, 1961 in Miami, Florida. After graduating from Miami Carol City High School in 1977, she went to college for a year and worked as an accountant before joining the United States Navy in 1987 as a single parent. Neely did basic training at Naval Training Center Orlando, Florida before doing air crew survival training at Naval Air Engineering Station Lakehurst, New Jersey. She was then stationed at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida as a part of the air crew survival in 1988. She was stationed there for four years until she was deployed to Spain in 1991.
