81 during Trigg's time. During three different years, a total of at least l6 Kent girls graduated from Bennett.193

President Trigg's faculty was larger than wallace's faculty had been. In l920—l92] the actual faculty members of Bennett, excluding matrons, the college physician, administrative help, and the Kent Home staff, numbered thirteen. Five of these had advanced training at the master's level, but nonennnot even Triggu—at the doctorate level.19h Figures for l922-l923 and l925~l926 include faculty and administration.

In 1922-1923 there were eighteen such positions filled and three un—

filled.”5 Three years later there were also eighteen such positions

filled and only one unfilled.]96 During the first seven years of Trigg's presidency, Mrs. M. L. Donelson continued to be superintendent at Kent. Miss Gertrude Saathoff became superintendent in l92£+-=l925.]97 Mrs. Esther Simpson was the Kent superintendent the next year, Trigg's last year in office.198

The minimum level of education offered at Bennett rose. In I920 the lowest grade taught was grade six;199 in 1922, after the inau= guration of the Junior High School department, the lowest grade was the
