Essential question: What was the November 3 Greensboro Massacre and what was the impact on the community? The lesson uses various video footage of the actual massacre which is up to teacher discretion to show as well as an article in Teen Vogue about Signe Waller Foxworth (survivor). Both recount what happened on Nov. 3, 1979. Students relate the Greensboro Massacre to current events.
