Essential question: What is necessary for reconciliation to occur? The lesson addresses the eight general recommendations made by the Greensboro Truth and Reconciliation Commission Report. It also looks at what has been accomplished in the last 40 years regarding these eight recommendations. Students will design a project to address a recommendation. Students will address the following questions regarding the recommendations: (1) What if we do nothing? What could we do if we had all the resources in the world? (2) What can we do with what we have now?
