Of particular interest are multi-page documents such as Governor Cherry's remarks during the presentation of medals and certificates to NC Selective Service officials, a copy of the Greensboro Draft Board history by coordinator James V. Morgan, "Selective Service and the War Industry" by H.M. Bucher and H.G. Cristy, and a National Defense Service Bulletin detailing registrant order of selection and outlining essential activities to be recognized by local boards considering individuals for occupational classification. Also included are directories for Local Board No. 1 and Advisory Board No. 2. The folder also contains classification definitions and various notes.
