Description

This document was likely addressed to O. Henry about his script and lyrics for the musical comedy "Lo," which was based on his short story "To him who waits." O. Henry wrote the script and lyrics for "Lo" with the assistance of New York newspaper columnist Franklin P. Adams, and the music was written by musical playwright A. Baldwin Sloane. Two songs mentioned in this document, "Main Street" and "Let's Sing," eventually became part of the show.
