Description

This report provides statisitical data on blighted areas in Greensboro in relation to major crimes, infant mortality, tuberculosis, venereal disease, and fires. It breaks down eleven identified areas into 5 groups: Cumberland, East Market-Bennett, Warnersville, Retreat Street, and the last group is a comining of the remaining 7 areas. The major crimes examined were murder and non-negligent manslaughter, forcible rape, robbery, and aggravated assault. The fire causes examined were oil stove fires, defective wiring, electrical appliances, and other.
