This report by the Redevelopment Commission of Greensboro describes the history of successful urban redevelopment plans from the 1950's and early 1960's while outlining plans for downtown Greensboro's revitalization. The report discusses Cumberland, the first residential redevelopment plan in Greensboro and in North Carolina that began in the late 1950's. It also describes both the Washington and Warnersville residential and commercial redevelopment plans. The report also covers planned redevelopment and for Bennett College and A & T State University.
