In this transcript of a June 7, 1982, oral history interview conducted by Eugene Pfaff with Roy Millikin, Millikin recalls his experience on the Greensboro City Council in the late 1950s and early 1960s, and the various issues they confronted. He describes the events of the city that brought about formation of the Human Relations Commission, and refers to his recommendation of racial equality on the commission. He also briefly discusses construction of the Greensboro Coliseum and the Lake Townsend watershed.
