At the time of this interview (Spring 2022), Jones was a Senior in his last semester at UNCG as an undergraduate. In this interview, Jones discusses his family background, early education, and his attainment of an Associate's Degree from SandHoke Early College High School. Jones is the first in his family to attain a college degree. He discusses his decision to attend UNCG, his experiences there in Student Government Association, where he was serving as Vice President at the time of the interview, his involvement in Alpha Kappa Psi, Phi Beta Sigma, and his favorite campus social activities. Jones spends a good deal of time talking about his experience as a student at UNCG during the COVID pandemic, which began in just his second semester at UNCG. He discusses the difficulties of attending college during the pandemic and what it was like both on and off campus during that time. Jones also discusses some of the important issues in the US happening at the same time, such as the Black Lives Matter movement, murder of George Floyd, the January 6th attack on the US Capitol Building, and the Biden-Harris inauguration. Jones ends the interview by talking about the types of students that attend UNCG and his plans after graduation.
