Description
Norman Smith is a noted lawyer with a long track record of working for civil rights and civil liberties cases. He has also been a great supporter of UNCG's University Libraries for many years, as well as an avid collector. Smith recalls his connections with and support of UNCG University Libraries, discusses two events that took place in UNCG's Special Collections and University Archives which features some of the books from his collection. Smith shares some selected books and discusses historical background and interesting features and also tells how he finds some of his books. Smith ends the interview with a discussion of the collections at UNCG Special Collections and University Archives and his contributions.
