At the time of the interview (Fall 2023), Summer Moua was a senior at UNCG. Moua talks about growing up in Hickory, NC and the Hmong community there. She talks about why she decided to join UNCG, her experience as a Middle Grade Education major and being a student teacher with her internship. Moua discusses Hmong culture, being Asian American and the Asian community at UNCG. Moua also shares her experience during the COVID-19 pandemic.
