Description

The undated photographs of comrades and friends at leisure activates and on military bases document Boehret's time as an army nurse during World War II. There are informal images of civilian friends taken after the war; travel photographs of the Fishermen's Memorial Monument in Gloucester, Massachusetts; the statue of Native American chief Massasoit in Plymouth, Massachusetts; and the heavy frigate USS "Constitution" in Boston, Massachusetts. There is also an undated group shot of Boehret and fellow nursing students.
