The Council discussed the conference between English Prime Minister Ramsay McDonald and President Herbert Hoover at Rapidan Camp and what the conference meant for furthering the Peace Committee's mission. The Council was successful in placing 22 college students in homes for the Holy Days. The Council also discussed support of immigrants at Ellis Island, the Sophie Einstein Fund, and Red Cross creation of "Christian" bags for the military. The Council continued to prepare for the Triennial and Atlantic Section's annual conference in Cumberland, Maryland on November 5-6. The meeting ended with Grace VanDyke Moore from the North Carolina College for Women giving a presentation on the benefits of an early music education.
