The documents primarily detail the development of the Richmond conference. Topics and correspondents include Mr. J. T. Gerould, Seaboard Air Line Railway, Daniel C. Gilman, Alexander Graham, J. M. Greenwood, W. H. Hand of Crestor Public Schools, Kenly Academy, E. P. Hayes (mayor of Randleman, N.C.), the Industrial Union Institute and Textile Training School For Colored Boys and Girls, Walter B. Hill of the University of Georgia at Athens, L. L. Hobbs of Guilford County Schools, The Woman's Association for the Betterment of Public Schools in North Carolina, Laura M. Coit, C. C. Wright, Winthrop Normal and Industrial College, Greenville Female College, Laura Kirby, and Limstone College. Also included is a flyer for a November 20th educational rally held in Bowman, S.C.
