This memorandum from Alice J. Irby, director of admissions at the Woman's College of the University of North Carolina (WCUNC) to WCUNC Chancellor Otis Singletary consists of a list of black students registering at the school for the fall semester in 1961. A total of nineteen dormitory and seven town students are listed.
