As part of a larger community initiative , a workshop was held for Guilford County School instructors and media specialists at UNCG Greensboro on August 6, 2019. Focusing on the value of using primary sources across disciplines, the day-long workshop introduced participants to various local, state, and national online collections. Participants also gained an enhanced understanding of the use of primary sources in research and writing. Additionally, they acquired tips, techniques, and a more holistic approach to teaching students how to conduct research and to effectively support their findings.
