Slides from presentation given July 17, 2020 at the North Carolina Library Association (NCLA) "Uncancelled" Virtual Conference. This program was part of the STEM-LINC section summer programming. Public participation in scientific research through citizen science is gaining popularity across the US. This session will introduce participants to citizen science and discuss how to implement projects within school, public, and academic libraries. During the session we will briefly participate in an ecology project to help researchers identify wildlife, and explore SciStarter (a platform that organizes a variety of citizen science projects).
