This scrapbook, created by members of the Commercial Class Dance Committee at Woman's College of the University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro), contains materials relating to the Commercial Class formal dance, "The Defense Dance," held on January 17, 1942 in Rosenthal Gymnasium. The scrapbook contains newspaper clippings, reports from each dance committee, a financial breakdown, a dance card, and correspondence.
