This scrapbook, created by members of the Freshman Class Dance Committee at Woman's College of the University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro), contains materials relating to the Freshman Class formal dance, "The Coronation Ball," held on April 18, 1953 in Elliott Hall. The scrapbook contains a dance card/program, an invitation, an orchestra contract, newspaper clippings, painted drawings of the dance doorway and interior decorations, and dance committee reports detailing committee duties, and financial expenditures.
