Description

Primarily documents the life of Cherise Miller-March and her service with the United States Air Force. Miller-March recalls her perceptions during basic training and technical school that the female airmen had to work much harder than the male airmen in order to prove their worth to the service. She also describes the humiliation she felt when she was transferred to active duty and her qualifications and reserves rank were taken away, forcing her to start all over again. Miller-March also recalls the differences she noticed in the way she was treated as a female parent versus the high-ranking male airmen.
