She also recalls the different nationalities she had to opportunity to attend to while at University of Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital, including Cubans, Jamaicans, and Haitians. Graham describes witnessing women having to work harder and prove themselves in the military, and the evolution she saw with pregnant women in their determination to be both a mother and to serve their country. She also recalls the senior leader nurse development courses and medical pre-command courses she taught to doctors entering leadership positions, her dedication to mentoring people in their careers, and the rewarding feeling it brought her to have made an impact in her field.
