Audrey Meyers (1924-1992) served in the Women's Army Corps from 1944-1945. In her diary, she discusses her basic training at Fort Des Moines in Iowa, her daily life working as a medical technician at Halloran General Hospital in New York City, and her friends and family, and concludes with her marriage in August, 1985. The end of the Eurpoean and Pacific wars are noted as is the death of President Frankiln Delano Roosevelt.
