Amy Sarris Corning (b. 1957), of Miami, Florida, served as an officer in the United States Air Force from 1984 to 2006. Corning worked extensively in the fields of transportation and special operations; and also served as both an instructor for a collegiate Reserve Officer Training Corps, and the Air Mobility Warfare Center at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Her career spanned both The Persian Gulf War, and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
