Carol Alban Johnson (1944-2022) of Columbus, Ohio, served in the United States Women's Army Corps from 1964 to 1968. She was stationed in the office of the secretary of the army during the Tet Offensive in Vietnam. Carol Alban Johnson was born in Columbus, Ohio on 15 November 1944. She graduated from West High School and briefly attended Ohio State University before joining the army in 1964. After completing basic training at Fort Rucker, Alabama, Johnson was sent to personnel training at Fort Dix, New Jersey, where she remained as a personnel specialist.
