Eleanor K. Peck served as a pediatrician in London, England, while volunteering for the American Red Cross from 1941 to 1942 and as a member of the United States Army beginning in January 1943. American pediatrician Eleanor K. Peck volunteered for the American Red Cross during World War II. She departed for England in October 1942, and there worked at the Hospital for Sick Children in London. In January, 1943 she was transferred from the Red Cross to the United States Army.
