Jean Booth of Oxford, North Carolina, attended the North Carolina State Normal and Industrial College (now the University of North Carolina at Greensboro) from 1907-1909. The Girl Graduate: Her Own Book scrapbook was published by the Reilly and Britton Co. of Chicago. Booth annotated in black ink throughout the book. The scrapbook includes casual photographs of classmates, newspaper clippings, cards, invitations, signatures of teachers and classmates, receipts, and programs. The programs include play and music programs, Commencement Exercises of 1909 and Class Day Exercises of 1909.
