Mebane Holoman Burgwyn (1914-1992) was a Woman's College (now UNCG) alumna and an award-winning author of children's books. The Mebane Holoman Burgwyn Papers date from 1931 to 2004 and contain handwritten manuscripts, typescripts, layouts, proofs, illustrations, a photograph of Burgwyn, correspondence and clippings.
