The materials in these binders were used to train instructors about racial sensitivity and were compiled by a woman who attended the the USAREUR Race Relations School (URRS). Her training consisted of a four-week, part- time instructors course, and a one-week company commander course. Training methods included lectures, demonstrations, discussions in both small and large groups, field trips, and films. Part-time instructors, upon completing the course, were expected to be able to develop training aids, conduct research, and lead lectures, discussions, and seminars.
