Virginia Ginny Niple Miller (1918-2004) of Columbus, Ohio, was an airplane spotter and personnel officer in the Women's Auxiliary Army Corps (WAAC) and the Women's Army Corps (WAC) from 1942 to 1945. Virginia Miller was born 20 May 1918 in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Bexley High School in 1934, and attended Ohio State University, Albertus Magnus College in Connecticut, and the Tom Hagen School of Design in New York. She returned to Columbus, married, and began work at the Curtiss-Wright Corporation. On November 14, 1942, Miller enlisted in the Women's Auxiliary Army Corps (WAAC).
