Scrapbook documenting the history of the Edgeville (later William Sydney Porter) Elementary School in Greensboro, N.C. The Edgeville School was established by Cone Mills and was absorbed into the Greensboro City Schools in 1945. The school's name was changed to honor Porter in 1955. Porter Elementary closed in the 1980s and was torn down in the mid-2000s.
