Abstract

As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, the days when employees worked in the same location with local people for extended periods of time are long gone (Gilson et al., 2015; Glikson andErez, 2019; Lukic andVracar, 2018). Today, a vast number of employees must cross national borders, both physically and virtually, to fulfill their workplace responsibilities (Gilson et al., 2015; Glikson andErez, 2019). These international dynamics necessitate close interactions among culturally diverse individuals with different professional backgrounds, values, and expectations. Consequently, to achieve business goals, managers must understand and master the art of managing a culturally diverse workplace and working with employees, suppliers, customers, and partners from different cultural backgrounds.
