Chief Warrant Officer Christine M. Knott (b. 1949) served as an interrogator in the United States Army from 1983-2004. Christine Knott was born in 1949 in Jacksonville, Florida, and grew up in a military family, spending time in various locations in the United States and five years in Tripoli, Libya, when her father was stationed there. At the age of 34, in 1984, Knott enlisted in the United States Army. She completed basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and then went to the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, where she received training as a Spanish-language interrogator.
